Change is a natural part of life, and at Hillcote Pets, we are embracing an exciting new chapter. Over the years, we have built a wonderful community of pet lovers, and we are so grateful for the trust and support of every client and furry friend who has been part of our journey. Today, we want to share some important updates about the future of Hillcote Pets.
A Life-Changing Journey
In September 2024, after six years of hope and perseverance, Kayleigh and her partner welcomed their beautiful daughter, Pippa, into the world. Her arrival was nothing short of a miracle, but it also came with challenges. Kayleigh faced severe complications during labour, making recovery a long and ongoing process.
This experience has led to some important changes, not just for Kayleigh but for Hillcote Pets as a whole. After much thought, it has been decided that from June 2025, Hillcote Pets will no longer be offering dog daycare services. Instead, the focus will shift to the services that best align with our evolving team and values.
What’s Next for Hillcote Pets?
Hillcote Pets is not closing—far from it! Instead, the daily pet care services will now be led by two familiar faces: Ida and Elliot.
Meet Your New Hillcote Pets Team
Ida has been an essential part of the team since Pippa’s arrival and will now oversee all bookings and operations. She will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless experience for every pet and their owner.
Elliot will be heading up pet care services, focusing on dog walking and pet sitting in clients' homes. Many of you already know and trust him, and we hope that we can continue to grow the Hillcote Family with him.
Together, Ida and Elliot will continue to provide the same level of dedication, love, and professionalism that Hillcote Pets has always been known for.
Looking Ahead
While the structure of Hillcote Pets is evolving, the commitment to animal care remains unchanged. In addition to pet walking and sitting, the team will also be expanding into new areas, including pet nutritional support, reproductive services, and breeding Cardigan Welsh Corgis. As a vulnerable breed in the UK, supporting their future is a cause close to our hearts.
Though this marks a shift in services, Hillcote Pets will always be a family. We are excited for this next phase and grateful for the continued support of our wonderful clients and their beloved pets.
Here’s to the future—one filled with happy tails, long walks, and plenty of love!
